Disappearing data. No Accountability. from pillar to post for over 1 month.

I had over 1.5gb of data disappear within 30 minutes. I was listening to Apple music on my way to the airport. I realise using Apple music uses some data but this does not explain the large amount lost. I called the call centre. I was told that certain apps were responsible for the usage. 2 of the Apps mentioned in the call were apps that I don't even use. I'm not on Facebook and I was told that Facebook was responsible for some of the usage. I queried this again and then was given another explanation. Then they changed their answer and said this info wasn't available to me because of my type of contract. I asked why and did not get an explanation.

I queried further and was told that I would receive a report that would explain the usage. Its an EDR report consisting of an excel sheet that tallies data amounts with no explanation of the apps using the data. I asked again and was then told they can't send me an app usage report. Then they sad they could but they sent the EDR again after clearly asking them for different information.

They did credit my data back as a measure of goodwill. While I appreciate the token gesture I still wanted to find out how this happens.

Its been another 2 weeks and each time I'm asked to verify myself, and am told the back office will supply what I need.

I was then told I needed to sign up for itemised billing at an extra cost to help with a detailed explanation. I did this and I'm no further to finding out what I need. Stalling tactics, wasting my time and money and big corporate bullying the consumer.

I need answers

After Vodacom did not get back to me within 96 hours, they are again asking me to authenticate my details. This is not my responsibility. Wasting my time once again.
