Disappearing data.

I signed up for a data contract with Vodacom in August. Data disappeared at an alarming rate. I lodged a customer services ticket and was told that it was "usage" but no details were supp****. I complained about this. After a conversation one Sunday I was told the the details could be provided verbally only - this I declined as I wanted the evidence on a Vodacom document as evidence.

This I then escalated to their executive team. I was notified by email that I would have to sign a waiver document which basically rescinded my right to use it in evidence against Vodacom.I demanded a detailed usage report and was provided a "detailed billing" document. The usage column had no units assigned to it. When I queried this the response was that it was the packet switched data information and not the actual usage.

I was offered three months on the contract free of charge - this I declined and pointed out that this was an admission of guilt. Vodacom then withdrew this and declined to cancel the contract (this had already been agreed).

In October everything was fine and then in November data again disappeared at a massive rate.

The Vodacom executive team have not responded to my mails despite my threat to lay ******** charges against their directors.

I lodged another complaint with customer care on Monday. Customer care did respond but it seems that they have no way to escalate complaints and offered no explanation as to the sudden spike in "usage" in November i.e. 40GB in fourteen days.
