Disappearing data and talktime

During last week I received an SMS from Vodacom to say that my data has run out. I checked my balances and had R 894 odd airtime as well as 2.2 GB data left. Yesterday I received a pop up that there is no data available. Once again I checked my balances and there was no airtime and no data left on my phone. It took me three attempts on Vodacom customer Service to get someone to understand what I was trying to tell them. The answer was that the contract on my phone does not allow for recurring data and the top up data I bought in December ran out on the 18th January, after which the system automatically started deducting the data costs from my airtime. According to numerous people on our area Facebookgroup, the same has happened to them and no one bothers to look into the scenario. My contract includes 2GB data per month as well as airtime. My Data usage from 18th to 22 January was 966.51MB...does that cost R894.00 these days???? I would appreciate Vodacom to credit my account with the amount that disappeared, because I do not believe the standard stock answer that they try to give clients to just get them off the line....never in my life has a system automatically started deducting airtime for data! My account number is NA107301. Cellnr. **********
