Disappearing airtime
Last week Thursday I sent two sms's to 32082 to enter Vodacom Millionaires. After sending those messages I noticed that I was charged R1-74 per sms. I then called 111 and queried the charges. I was then told that on Vodacom's system it shows that I sent the messages to an international number which of course I did not. I was then reimbursed with R3-48 for the two messages and received a message from Vodacom informing to contact their repair center as there might be a problem with my phone.
The airtime on my phone keeps disappearing even though I'm not the one sending these messages. Since Saturday I've had airtime disappear from my phone due to these sms's supposedly being sent from my phone. I have called 111 on numerous occasions explaining that I'm not the one sending these sms's and each time a call is logged and no one calls back, but instead I get sms's that are of no assistance.
I went to the Vodacom Repair center in Cresta and they couldn't assist me. I spent over an hour there and during that time I had to call 111 again as well as Vodacom Millionaires, but no one could help. I recharged again this afternoon and again R1-74 disappeared.
If Vodacom can't help who else can?
