Disabled STANDARD phone features
I recently upgraded to a Huawei P30 Lite, and I am absolutely in love with the phone. One thing annoys me though. Even though this model is the model that supports dual sim (MAR-LX1M), the phone doesn't recognize when I have the second sim installed. I thought this down to network locks but no, different network cards work in the phone. This leads me to the only other conclusion, Vodacom is gimping their phones with the software, either not installing the package needed for this functionality, or disabling it. This is so bad I can't even describe it. How can you sell something, and gimp its STANDARD features? What is the purpose of this other than being anti-consumer? A lot of people use dual sims in different phones, because of your already astronomical internet costs. Please consider NOT gimping these phones. I'm sick of voiding my warranty to add STANDARD features to my phones, because you don't want us to have them.
