Dirty Recycled number

I got a new contract recently. The same day the new was activated I started getting SPAM calls and external debt collector calls and sms's. Looking for a Mr. Oscar. I phoned your customer support and they just told me to block the numbers. Problem is the sms's is random numbers and impossible to block. And the other problem is I use the sim for data only and not interested to pay R10 a month for caller ID. So can't block the call numbers in any case. Otherwise I can block all incoming calls, but then vodacom won't be able to contact me. Can you please just give me a (clean) new number/sim? Thank you
