Direct Seller (Mondo Mobile) damaging the Brand

Good afternoon

About a month ago I got a call from Vodacom. This person sold me a useless 5GB modem contract. Since the phone call, the modem was delivered, but I did not receive my terms and conditions and contract.

Today, when I called Vodacom, they said I must call ********** 690. i subsequently fond out this is the number for Mondo Mobile. I tried for three days to get through to their call centre, at last someone picked-up the phone today. When I asked for a copy of my contract and terms and conditions, they refused to email me a copy and referred me to the Vodacom Website. Furthermore, Mondo Mobile company said that there is a verbal contract and I now have to request a copy of the call, and then wait until it is uploaded to some website (which takes 7 to 10 working days), after which I have to go to a Vodacom Shop to listen to the call.

My reference for the original sales call is 65340. The agent (Roland Varaphan) informed me that today’s call has the same reference number.

I had previous complaints regarding the Direct Seller. It is unacceptable that a RED Vodacom customer is treated like this. I have been with Vodacom for over 10 years.

Your company has caused serious damage to the Vodacom Brand.

Reviewer Update

It is more than 2 weeks on, and my issue is still not resolved. For two weeks now have I been trying to cancel my Modem contract as per the terms and coditions received. Vodacom keeps ignoring me - no feedback from Customer Care, no feedback from Cancellations. I've tried to contact the Vodacom Cancellations Contact Centre, but they are so busy that the call keps bouncing to Customer Care (which cannot help me).
