Difficulties with 2nd line "Porting"

Im a Vodacom customer for more than 2 years already and I'm disturbed by the service am getting today throughout the years I've been with VC. After receiving my second contract today I called VC to assist with porting since I was not given an option to port upon Applying Online. Spoke to the lady ''MELISA'' on ***4 and she advised me that they need to collect the handset since it has already been delivered.

My concern is that VC never contacted me and confirmed if the order is correct neither I want to change price plans. How could they want to come collects the handset am happy about to facilitate the process afresh? What is difficult with facilitating a port on a prepaid line on competitor? I’m saddened by this and I will surely cancel this order if they cannot facilitate the porting because I cannot have 3 different numbers.

Dear Customer, Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction to our office. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any areas of improvement within our organisation. Regrettably a number cannot be ported after the sale has been concluded. Our records indicate that you were advised and assisted via the call center.

Regards Consumer Website Team

Best regards,

Now that is the process, what must i do now? I cannot have 3 numbers. I need mitigations to this and i find it very rude that you'd respond here and not even give a courtesy call.
