DESPERATE FOR A RESOLUTION FROM VODACOM!

I have been a Vodacom customer for many years and I am very disappointed in how the issue has been dealt with. DATE DETAILS RESULT 07-03-18 Request statements via email - since I was unable to access MyVodacom, NO RESPONSE 23-06-18 Receive email notification that I unsubscribed from receiving login notifications via email. Upon receiving this email, I tried to login to MyVodacom once again, but was not able to do so. This was definitely not me and I did not request this service to be stopped. Unfortunately I did not reply to that email. I suspect that this was *****. I AM CURRENTLY RESIDING IN NAMIBIA. WE DO COULD NOT CANCEL THE VODACOM CONTRACTS AND MY SON, WHO IS STILL IN SOUTH AFRICA, IS USING HIS NUMBER ********** . THE SIM FOR ********** HAS BEEN IN MY POSESSION AND IN NO DEVICE FOR A YEAR. THE SIM FOR ********** IS A 3G SIM CARD AND THE DEVICE (3G) HAS NOT BEEN USED SINCE JUNE 2018. ON 23-06-18 THE SIM CARD FOR ********** WAS NOT IN A DEVICE, SINCE MY SON CAME TO VISIT US IN NAMIBIA AND INSERTED A NAMIBIAN SIM CARD IN HIS DEVICE. THAT SIM CARD WAS RETURNED TO THE DEVICE ON 29-06-18 WHEN WE WERE FIRST MADE AWARE OF THE FACT THAT THE SIM CARD IS ON SMART XS+ AND NO LONGER ON THE UCHOOSE FLEXI ACCOUNT WE SIGNED UP FOR. This request has not been made by myself or with my consent. Upon arrival in South Africa, we visited the closest Vodacom Store and the following refers to that: 02-07-18 VODACOM CENTURION In-Store, Service Request logged for a migration on client provile - REF: I- ********** ********** ; Admin lock on ********** & ********** - REF: I- ********** ********** ; UPGRADE DATE NOT SHOWING - REF: I- ********** ********** 06-07-18 RETURN TO NAMIBA - ALL VODACOM SIM CARDS REMOVED FROM DEVICES AND NOT USED 16-07-18 SIM CARD FOR ********** RETURNED TO DEVICE - STILL SHOWING SMART XS PACKAGE. WE QUERY IT AGAIN. 27-07-18 I phoned ********** from a Vodacom line in SA (visiting there from Namibia). I spoke to Una who said that the charges will be credited to my account 08-08-18 I responded to the email dd 23-06-18 to state that I did not unsubscribe from the email notifications. 09-08-18 Receive an automated email message to state that I need to authenticate certain details and that I can also engage in online chats. I am unable to that since MyVodacom is still locked for me. I respond to the email with the requested information and ask that the lock be lifted and the migration be reversed. 11-08-18 Receive an email from Zintle Joni stating that the lock due to non payment has been removed 13-08-18 I sent an email to follow up on the previous query 13-08-18 Received an email from Nathalia stating that they were unable to contact me 13-08-18 Received an automated email to request authentication 14-08-18 I sent an email stating that I am still waiting for them to authenticate me. I reiterate that I can only be reached on my Namibian number. 15-08-18 Nosipho Masiko phoned me and I explained my unhappiness regarding the whole ordeal. Received an email from Nosipho confirming the conversation and stating that authentication was completed. 1- ********** ********** & 1- ********** ********** feedback will be provided once the investigation is completed. 15-08-18 I respond to the email from Nosipho requesting a statement and assistance to be able to login to MyVodacom so that I can manage my account remotely. 16-08-18 16-08-18 Received an email from ********** with no signature and the statement attach. The statement only indicates monthly charges of which an amount of R14 225,88 was incurred in a time when the SiM card of the ********** 179 has not been in use since June 2018 up until and including 23-08-18 16-08-18 Received an email from Alida Brown that my account is in arrears with an amount of R1 642,08 and informing me that the return debit penalty fee will be charged. Feedback regarding 1- ********** ********** is as follows: "We emailed the client the Usage Report for the month of July 2018, which will povide the Client with the information regarding the USSD billing which occurred in the invoice number H3-A06DT" 17-08-18 I reply to that email by requesting the invoices in question in order to establish what it was for and to help proof that I did not use it NO RESPONSE 17-08-18 I sent an email again stating my unhappiness with the result and that I am still unable to access any of my account via the MyVodacom app and that I am still unable to get a resolution. 17-08-18 Received an email from Justin Joseph stating that the query has been re-escalated to the Back Office to request a credit, advising that I was incorrectly migrated to an open line package which resulted in me being charged out of bundle rates. 1- ********** ********** is my new reference number for the re-escalation of my query. 23-08-18 Followed up on the unsubscribe message of 23-06-18 23-08-18 I follow up the email I've sent to ********** requesting the invoice I have not received a response to the above email dd 23 August and have followed it up via email on numerous occasions, of which the last one was on today's date (23 Nov 2018). The only thing I want is for my account to be restored to the original state. I have continued to pay my monthly subscription, but I refuse to pay for things I did not do. At the time of the so-called services rendered for which I'm being charged, both sim cards was not in any devices and in our possession. The reason for this was for travelling to and from Namibia and visiting as stated above.

Dear Vodacom, Please note that I have had numerous email conversations and I have been contacted already by your customercare department after I submitted my follow-up email. This does not mean it has been resolved in any way whatsoever. It therefore remains to be seen if this matter is going to be resolved.
