Deplorable service to a longstanding vodacom customer

<p><br />I've been with vodacom for 22 years continuously. I went in there 10 days ago to open a new contract for a Samsung S7 edge with a complimentary Samsung tablet . After doing all the paperwork and bring approved for the deal, the consultant informs me that they don't have the phone in stock. She will have it the next day and she'll call me. <br />I waited the whole week and no one called!</p> <p>I phoned the store on Saturday and was told that they have the phone in stock. They'll keep 1 aside for me, and I can fetch the next day. I go in the next day, only to find that they apparently 'sold' the phone and they don't have it.</p> <p>The consultant then phones me after 2 days to tell me, she has the phone and I must cum in and fetch.<br />When I go in, ( now for the 3rd time), she makes me wait for 45 min, then apologetically tells me, she needs to cancel the whole contract and redo the sale/contract/reapplication for approval, because the phone and tablet on the contract I was approved for was packaged separately and the stock that she has is packaged together. But the items are exactly the same !</p> <p> </p> <p>By this time I was fedup and walked out</p> <p>im still without the phone</p> <p>this after thinking I should pay the extra money associated with vodacom contracts because they the best mobile network in Africa.</p> <p>i phoned 082111 ( customer care), they said they can't help . It's a store issue . The the vodashop stores are the FACE of vodacom in SA ??</p> <p>i sent an email to ********** ( undeliverable). I emailed the store manager. I'm still awaiting a response . </p> <p>There seems to be no mechanism in place to complain abt vodacom </p> <p> </p>
