Delivery in two working days....NOPE, we will get the delivery address wrong two days in a row

Received a call last week with new product available at a very fair price. I take the deal and during application I SPELL the address of the College I work at. Then I sit back and wait for the delivery. Finally I get an sms from the courier company informing me that they are delivering the package to my HQ office (which is 10KMs away from where I work). I call the courier company to inform them they are delivering to the wrong address, they inform me it is not their problem and I must contact Vodacom again who must rectify the address in writing, and that I will now wait another day for the delivery. I contact Vodacom immediately and do the address change with the sales dept. The guy there informs me the delivery will be with me the next day. Guess what, the next morning I get another sms from the courier company informing me they are delivering again to the incorrect address. I contact the courier company again and they inform me they have not received the change of address and will now only deliver the next day. So, I contact Vodacom and inform them they can cancell the order. They tell me they cannot do it until the package is sent back to them. My question is this. Why, if Vodacom is so adament to call you all hours of the day to sell something new to you, and you are a loyal customer and decide to support them, why do they make promises they cannot keep? Why is my delivery not the most important step in this process? I am very dissapointed in Vodacom. I've never had any issues with Vodacom before but this thing has made me so cross I am seriously considering not renewing my contract with them.
