Deliver address nightmare
I have requested an upgrade last week the 26th. I was told that the phone will be deliver during the week. This was very important to me as the week of the 1st I will be out of town with business. Friday morning I got an email to say my phone is out on delivery. I was very excited until I saw the address. I had to actually go look up the address and the address is in Alberton. I have never lived in Alberton. Don’t know where they got the address. I tried to phone their helpdesk but after 30 min of being on hold I gave up and I send a mail to Ram as per to inform them the address is wrong. I got a reply back and it said someone will contact me back within an hour. Great I left that there. Around 10 I got a call from the driver that they at the wrong address. I told them that the address is wrong and I did inform there helpdesk.
I then phone Vodacom’s upgrade department to tell them the situation. I also requested that someone contacts me back as I need to know when the delivery will be so I can make my arrangements accordingly. I did not get any feedback from Vodacom so I phone Ram again round 3pm to find out if anybody their could give me feedback. They said they have received my requested but still waiting for approval from Vodacom for change of address. I then phone Vodacom upgrades again and the person that answered the phone had was not helpful at all and had Cyrildene as the delivery address. I have not stayed there in over 9 years. So once again I went through the whole story and asked for a team leader or someone to phone me back so I could change my plans for this week if needed.
I phone Vodacom again on Sunday to confirm the address has been changed and once again to ask a teamleader to call me back and once again nothing. This morning I got a duty full mail from Ram to say that the parcel is out on delivery to Alberton again!!!! ***. Ok so phone RAM they said that they have not gotten a change of address hence it being delivered to the address on file. So we conference in Vodacom. Vodacom did not even ask the number in question just went straigh to it will take 24 for 36 hours to blah blah blah just more excuses. This is ridiculous. How can you run a business like this.
