Deliberately misleading customers to lock them into a multi-year commitment

I have been trying to move off my (expired) contract to prepaid to move onto Powerflex, but each time I speak with cancellations, they put another obstacle in my way. First, it was an R85 bundle that prevented me from moving to Powerflex. Then, it was the promise of a better deal with voice minutes and data. I asked repeatedly on the call if it was month-to-month and was assured that it was. It was never mentioned that it was a 2-year contract, and yet when I look at my app, I am now on a new 2 year contract. And secondly, there is no sign of the voice minutes that were promised to me. So not only a contract that I didn't want, but the wrong contract for my needs. I logged a complaint with aftersales, asked them to listen to the call, and got an SMS later that evening that the complaint was successfully resolved, with a broken link and no feedback. Please - listen to the call and hear for yourselves.
