Deleted number from system

Good day,<br> from when does a network disconect you from the world without the client primision. Vodacom is the most comen network I everbeen, Then you must stil pay them (your contract) where in your life I know i didnt pay for 2 months but how on earth can they delete your number from system. but then I pay an amount enough to put on my phone so i phoned vodacom and they told me that my number is deleted from the system. but now stil I have to pay to pay the contract finish but they deleted my number from the system how in the world. they coudnt even call the customer and ask premission or whats going on, this is the most poorer service I came along. Vodacom must closed there doors I even think cell c is beter than vodacom.
