De*****ing of PrePaid Data Custormers

Vodacom has this prepaid service Just 4 You (J4Y) that offers promotions on data and voice calls and you have to dial *123# to access these promotions.

So I dialed the *123# looking to find what data promotions are on offer and there was one of 1GB for 7 days at R79. I then recharge with R100 so I can be able to buy this promotion, only to find that the promotion is no longer an option but replaced with a 2GB for 7 days at R109.

What kind of ***** is this, why are we being deceived or ******ed like this? I can't recover my R100 back now which was meant to buy 1GB, and Vodacom will now consume that airtime quickly through out of bundle rates that are already high.

This is one of the biggest ****s and mind you this is not the first I go back to the J4Y service only to find once you recharged the promotions disappear.

I'd like to state categorically that
1. there was no resolution on this matter.
2. I have not received any call from Vodacom agent as promised to this day.
3. I only receive an e-mail saying this has been resolved without any prior communication to resolve the matter.
I do perceive this as misrepresentation and means to put a blanket over this matter by creating ill conceived perceptions. This is very saddening coming from a company like Vodacom who portrays itself as self righteous, ethical and practice good governance.
Please do the right thing.
