defective phone from month 5 onwards
As per our discussion last week Friday, I am very disappointed with the Blackberry 9720.The rebooting problem started when the phone was only 5 months old and my son was scared to tell me as I am paying R180 a month for this contract. I only discovered the fault for myself when he was not reachable in 2 emergency situations.
Having a travel job means I am flying at least once a week so it was difficult to bring the phone in, in the first place. Then I am told that I have to pay about R200 to have the battery replaced. Let's get real here as this feels like a joke to me that my battery is not covered and the technician is stating this is the fault.
Since you seem to be oblivious of the fact that this specific Blackberry model has a defect problem that is published worldwide but in SA we Vodacare insists on frustrating the customer to whatever end while the customer keeps paying for 24 months. See the links below that show will show you and Vodacom of the problems with this phone.
[URL Removed]
[URL Removed]
