Defective handset and poor customer service

Question: Are all Vodacom customers with low-budget contract customers treated as if their business does not count?

Does it not matter if you're a Vodacom customer for about 20 years???? Is the poor customer care and communication s****s only reserved for the "little people?" The bad attitude I've been receiving includes Store Management where I have my contract and also extends to staff at Head Office. In my experience it gets worse when you are dealing with staff at Head Office. Vodacom staff at their Head Office in Cape Town namely Colleen and Mariska are patronising and makes you feel unvalued.

For people working in the telecommunications industry the staff I have dealt with recently really don't know how to communicate.

I've been battling with a defective handset since my upgrade in December 2015 and have on numerous occasions requested a change of handset brand from the Store Manager who unobligingly refused. A couple of weeks ago I received a voice-mail message fron Collen at Head Office telling me the contract can be reversed!

When I called to confirm arrangements for the upgrade Colleen tells me I was subsequently left another message telling me to ignore the message. I was also told I wad sent two emails to that effect. I then informed Colleen that I only received one voice mail and no emails. I was put on hold and after 5 minutes I hung up. Colleem did not call me back and to date I have still not received the emails in question. When I tried calling her back she was not available to take my call. Mariska then very patronisingly spoke dealt with my concern. When I asked for a name and number of their superior I was given an alternate number and when I asked Mariska for the details of the number I was told it was the number of the "CE0!" I questioned this and she confirmed it was the number of the CE0!

I was also inormed that my reversal could not take place because it was too long into my contract. Store Magement and Head office are completely ignoring the fact that I requested a change of handset the very first time it gave me problems which wad 5 days after I switched it on.

I have used the handset for less thsn a week since December 2015. It has had to be replaced on two occasions hence my request to change to an alternate brand. I haven't asked for a re****ion in my bill or requested a free handset. Im even willing to pay in the difference for an aleternate handset brand but they are refusing. I don't see why I have to pay for a product I am not satisfied with and I don't understand why The sraff at Vodacom ate making this so difficult for me.

vodacom , I expected better!
