DECEPTIVE MISLEADING ADVERTISING

Vodacom has nationally advertised and marketed its Vodafone R209-Z Wi-Fi Router as an 'LTE' device in all it's current brochures. I visited a store to purchase this deal and found that it is definitely NOT an 'LTE' device. When queried with staff I was told 'eish we don't know'. This apparently 'LTE' deal is advertised on TWO pages in their current brochure as well as on HUGE billboards in-store all indicating that this is an 'LTE' device. Trying to engage with Vodacom on twitter on 2 separate occasions to get some explanation has gotten me absolutely no response whatsoever. It is quite sad that with all the relevant laws in place to protect the consumer from this very form of false marketing that Goliath companies like Vodacom can get away with totally deceptive advertising which in my view amounts to blatant cheating and absolutely no regard for the law or the intelligence of the very customers which feed it's profits.
