Deceptive business practices

So let's start from the top

My contract was coming to an end so I went to upgrade. I decided to upgrade my contract aswell as I needed more talking time. So on Friday 21st Oct I went into a store and upgraded. Ok cool more expensive contract and R450 left on device payment so first month should've been roughly 1400.

Time goes on. November 1st comes and I am still on my old package where I have 2gb of data. Ok so I try register for the vodacom app and it doesn't work. I try to login online and I get more errors. So maybe it'll only kick in end of November?

Nope thats where it takes a twist. So I decide to check again on the 2nd and boom it's switched over. And I hardly have any data but ok that's understandable. So I decide to phone the call center to put a R300 limit as I'm on an open account. Still cannot access the website or app and I mention this on my call to vodacom every single time I call.

Move forward a few days, I check my balance to date and it's roughly R1400 ok cool expecting that. 100mb left and good to go. Then I run out of airtime and I continue to check my balance to be paid 1400. Still unable to access site or app

Wake up next next morning and check balance and boom R2300. Immediately phone call center and find there's 900 of out of bundle data usage. I understand the t's and c's but surely 900 over one night is a bit much. But no I had a 300 cap? What happened to that? Call center informs me that my limit is R3000.

By by the way all this time no 4G so a service I'm paying for isn't working aswell. So I get back to the call center. After 40min they just hang up on me..

Skip two weeks and I haven't heard anything so I phone the call center today and the query was closed and the apparent resolution was that I'm liable. I'm sorry but I don't accept that. I still cannot access my account anywhere to check anything.

Your company says i should check to not go over limits that you have incorrectly set yet I have no way of checking other than *111# which clearly doesn't work.

If if this is not resolved you will have lost a customer who has been with you for 10yrs. Absolutely pathetic.

hope to hear back soon.
