Decepetive Advertising and Poor Customer Service
I recently went to Ghana and I received a msg from Vodacom offering a Travel Saver for my roaming while travelling. As the offer appeared good I opted in via sms and received a note that it was active. In that note it didn't specify much except that for R30/day you get low rates on roaming. T&C's on the activation msg were to [URL Removed] which just took me to a normal site vs. the official T&C's. which had little to no real info or warnings.

Later that month I travelled to Angola & decided to use the service again & sent an sms to activate once I landed. I received a sms from while in Angola saying that the service is activated hence I proceeded to use the roaming as if it was the reduced rates. I later found out once I received my bill this was note the case and that Angola fell out of the scope.

I feel very deceived that Vodacom did not warn me of this and it was hidden in the T&C's vs. in the SMS to warn me this country does not qualify. I raised this with the call centre on Saturday and followed up on Tuesday and I received rude service and I was interrogated as to why I didn't read the T&C's.

I have been with Vodacom for more than 10yrs & this is very sad
