DEBT COLLECTION HANDOVER - BILLING AFTER CONTRACT CANCELLATION: ACCOUNT I***-0

I called VODACOM on the 31 of October 2016 to close my contract account, pay all outstanding fees and move all my numbers to prepaid.

I was advised that I should pay a TOTAL AMOUNT of R2945.00 to accomplish the above and to call back after 7 working days to confirm this. On the 8th of November 2016 I called to confirm if all my numbers have been converted to Prepaid, GUGU from the ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT told me that I still owed R238.00 for one of my numbers as the last instalment of that particular contract.

I respectively paid all the amounts above on the mentioned dates (31 October 2016 & 08 November 2016) See attached Proof Of Payments

Below are the list of Reference Numbers that VODACOM gave to me on the following days: After receiving STATEMENTS & LETTERS of DEMAND.

14 NOVEMBER 2016 - 1- ********** 3621 (Spoke to Bokgale & Monareng from ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT)
15 FEBRUARY 2017 - 1- ********** ********** (Spoke to Kgomotso from RETENTION DEPARTMENT)
15 FEBRUARY 2017 - 1- ********** ********** (CANCELLATION REFERENCE No.)
15 FEBRUARY 2017 - 1- ********** ********** (CANCELLATION REFERENCE No.)
23 FEBRUARY 2017 - 1- ********** 280878 (Spoke to Felicia from RETENTION DEPARTMENT)

All the above individuals assured me that there was a mistake on the administrative side of CANCELLATIONS & ACCOUNTS Departments, VODACOM was still billing me for all my numbers even after the 8th of NOVEMBER 2016 when I paid my last contract instalment.

Due to the above error VODACOM promised to fix the issue, as they can clearly see that I called to convert my numbers in OCTOBER & NOVEMBER 2016.

On the 4th of April 2017 I received a call from a Gentlemen Called Thulani Nkambule from HAMMOND POLE ATTORNEYS who threatend me we judgements and so on.

After the call above I spoke to NHLANHLA from the LEGAL Department and ASISIPHO from the SUBSCRIBER COLLECTIONS Department. WHO TOLD ME THAT THEY CAN`T ASSIST ME AND ADVISED ME TO SEND HAMMOND POLE ATTORNEYS A DETAILED E-MAIL(With 2016 Proof Of Payments), SO THAT THE ACCOUNT CAN BE SENT BACK TO VODACOM.

I have not received any communication from VODACOM or HAMMOND POLE ATTORNEYS after sending that e-mail.

VODACOM may you please assist.

Regards

Z.K CHIBI

+27 82 **********
