Debit Order or get *****ed
I have been a Vodacom customer for years but due to many billing errors on their part through the years I refuse to go on debit order. There system is now showing I am in arrears with R0 and will not allow me to upgrade one of my numbers. I get paid on the 1st of the month so payment can only be made after the 1st but their system automatically puts me in arrears every month. I have called twice to have the arrears removed, they tell me it will take 2 hours but never happens.
I have always been a loyal Vodacom customer and I have always paid my bill but due to their stringent system I am being treated like a bad payer.
I started an application at another service provider and they are happy to give me a contract. It is starting to look like I am going to have to take it up and start cancelling my Vodacom accounts.
My boss complained to me this morning about the same issue, he is on Vodacom red, has multiple account. He is a business man with multiple businesses, he has not taken up an upgrade in years but was denied yesterday because he pays via EFT.
We have been loyal Vodacom clients for many years but Vodacom is treating us like trash because we won't let them force us into debit orders.
All other service providers give at least a few days Grace or let you pick your payment date. Vodacom rather tells us to get *****ed.
