DEBIT ORDER CANCELLATION

I received a call from Vodacom this morning stating my account was in arrears. I was extremely shocked as i have a debit order with them.

the agent stated that my debit order was cancelled due to debits returned 5 x- not sure how this is possiblel and i didnt cancel the debit order. The agent further states that Vodacom cancelled the debit order.

Why did Vodacom not notify me that the debit order is cancelled?? i have no way of knowing! the agent stated that i was sent an sms on 10 August 2016. No, i didnt receive no sms. I mentioned that Vodacom should send an email as well, as sms is not 100% reliable.

This is no fault of mine as i wondered why Vodacom didnt debit my account end of August 2016 as there was more than sufficient funds!!

the tone of the agent was quite raised and i did the same but I stated that this will not be solved if both of us are highly strung.

Vodacom needs to email and not rely only on sms!
