Dear Vodacom, I refuse to pay for your negligence!!!!

Vodacom has decided to soft lock my phone because of their negligence!

I upgraded my phone in June and have been using the same amount of Data since and Vodacom has been deducting the same amount of money from my acount...makes sense doesnt it? On the 21st July I learn I have been given 10 free Gigs by vodacom which was not communicated to me. Towards the end of September I receive a notofication that i owe Vodacom over R4800 for data usage. I log a call and a consultant calls me, he picks up that I was given to another 10 free Gigs again, not to my knowledge! I received NO notifications rom vodacom which was agreed on upon signing.

The consultant calls me and informs me of my outstanding amount and i explain my disatisfaction...he brings down the bill to R699....I fight further and he reduces it to R399. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE???? I signed a contract, i have been using the same amount of data since June, Vodacom has been deducting the same amount of money from my account since June...WHY AM I OWING R4800 AND WHY IS MY PHONE SOFT LOCKED???

Needless to say the consultant tries to fabricate information claiming to have my contract which states there was 10 Gigs allocated....problem is, my signature is not there! Secondly he tells me I upgraded my contract online...Im not sure where he gets this from because I WAS INSTORE FOR OVER 2 HOURS AND WALKED OUT WITH MY PHONE!!!!

I WANT OUT OF THIS CONTRACT AND I WANT OUT OF VODACOM. This is the second incident and the first took over 5 years to fix...I dont have the time nor the patience to deal with this service providers lack of customer care and negligence
