Dear Irritating Vodacom
In September 2016 my contract with Vodacom came to an end as the 24 months had finished and Dear old Vodacom continued debiting my account. I called Vodacom to ask why they where debiting my account and I was told that I had not cancelled the contract and need to go to where I had took the contract (BT Ngebs Vodacom). Silly old me went to the BT Ngebs branch in November 2016 to cancel the contract and I was told that everything was sorted and that no further payments where to be taken from my account.
December 2016 suprise, suprise vodacom debited my account, and so I went to my bank and reversed then money they had taken. Then Vodacom contacted me saying I owed them money as I reversed the debit order, and I told them that I cancelled my contract twice already. Vodacom handed my account to lawyers to recover the amount and after spending over R100.00 of my own airtime, I was told that the matter was resolved.
2018 same story, lawyers are calling me saying I owe Vodacom money and after spending over R100.0m again of my own airtime I was told that the matter has been resolved. 2019 the same thing is happening again.
Dear Vodacom I am tire of this merry go round that you are playing.
