DEAD - IPHONE 6
One would assume that Vodacom's slogan 'Power to you' would warrant some kind of service.<br> During the past 3 weeks, I have encountered inadequacy of service which I had not previously considered possible, as well as ignorance and stupidity of monolithic proportions.<br> My brand new iPhone 6, was handed in at the Sandton city repair centre. The problem with the phone is unexplainable as it is completely dead. Will not turn on or charge. After taking it to 2 I-stores it was advised that the issue will need to be resolved at a Vodacom repair centre, which I duly have, job reference ***7. In the interim, I have had to take out yet another contract as I cannot be without a phone. I have now been advised that because there is a small scratch on the cover, the phone is out of warranty. The screen is not cracked at all, and the phone has never been dropped or damaged in any way. Even so, this would not result in the phone being completely dead. When I enquired what the problem is with the phone... I am unable to receive any report, except that there is a scratch. That does not explain why the phone is completely DEAD<br> I have been unhelpfully transferred to a variety of disinterested indiv
