I note that Vodacom notifies me constantly if my data is low and there is no airtime on my phone. However, the minute I have airtime on my phone no matter how remotely small the amount is, I do not get notifications regarding my data availability. I have loaded small amounts and get notifications all the time. I have however decided to buy 2GB this month to test this and got 2 notifications. However, when I load smaller amounts and there is no airtime constant reminders are being sent.

Best rather if you do not send notifications at all but seen that they do, why is it that notifications are stopped as soon as there is airtime on the phone. I even received a call from Vodacom at some stage trying to advise me why I should rather buy GB's according to my usage.

These corporate companies *****s us in every way they can and we as consumers should start boycotting these corporates who only act in the interest of their shareholders and not the customer. I am sure they are all devious but I will be moving to a bunch less devious than Vodacom.

Furthermore if one buys data and it runs over a month then the data disappears (because when you buy its only valid for a certain period). This too should be seen as ******* because data is like airtime, I have paid for it so it is mine (it should not expire). Vodacom or any cellphone network has not right to take what I have paid for. Once its paid for its mine.

If they want to have that policy with their contract customers (re free data, sms etc) then by all means go ahead and take it back but when a customer did not enter into a contract with Vodacom or any other cellular network , pays for their data, you have no right to take it. That should be seen a corporate theft.

Absolutely disgracefull
