data usage

Vodacom is ********. I am having to buy data every single ****ing day!!! yesterday I bought 100mbs of data. I go on instagram for literally 1 minute and a second later I get a sms saying my data bundle has been depleted. you're telling me that going on instagram for a minute will chow 100mbs of data??. the same thing happened last week when i had 29mbs of data left. I use an app for 2 minutes and my data is depleted. i don't have the money to buy data everyday. this is total ********. every rude Vodacom store consultant tells me the same thing. that its the apps running in the backround but how can that be when those apps have been turned off. i cant use my phone for anything except making calls because I'm afraid my data will be depleted. i would not recommend vodacom to anyone. wasting money by the minute buying data all the time.it leaves me incredibly frustrated. time to switch networks
