Data Transfer Refused

Yesternight I bought a 20gig data using my phone inorder to transfer it to another number after I had seen that vodacom does do data transfer. To my surprise the option told me no data to transfer.

I became frustrated because I bought it urgently for a matriculant to attend a class online Friday. I contacted vodacom via chat but the chatbot told me it's after hours I should contact them in the morning during work hours.

In the morning I couldn't get anyone to help me in their chat line. I sent emails instead I received automated reply. I ended up having to call, and currently I'm not in the country so calls are very costly for me like R5 per minute.

I called so that I can get the matter sorted. I spoke with Agent Nosipho. Surprisingly she doesn't know her job at all. She told me there's no such option as to transfer data. She asked me to tell where I got the information. I told her the options I used, she then said ok, told me to hold, then she told me I will only be able to transfer data once is 3 days before expiration date. I asked to speak to the complaints department, she asked me to hold she's transferring my call. I waited only the line for a while, then she returned and said the same thing that I can't transfer.

I asked her again that she said she was transferring me to the complaints department she said actually I can talk to her supervisor (Ntokozo) but Ntokozo came and insulted my intelligence. He told me when I told him there are no such terms and conditions on the options I selected he told me that I needed to have gone to vodacom page and read.

He claimed that under the option I selected for the data transfer is written that one must check TCs. He further said that I knew I was out of the country and still didn't seek counsel from their customer service. I asked to speak to a complaints department he said they don't have a phone .

Option was that I can only get refund when data is left with 3 days. I kept explaining why I did what I that I need it for a matriculant who is going to have an online lesson on Friday and I have no other option for him to attend. He told me that they can only help me once daft is 3 days to expiration.

I am really disappointed in Vodacom, I expected more.
