For the longest time I have been hot spotting from my Telkom phone. Every month I struggle to finish my almost 4 gb bundle using 2 phones. Every night and every morning I use the home router to update any apps that need updating. I repeat EVERY NIGHT AND EVERY MORNING I USE THE HOME ROUTER TO UPDATE ANY APPS THAT NEED UPDATING. Wednesday 26 September 2018 I decided to buy the 1gb for Tshwane data. Recharged my airtime and bought the data. At 10:58 I got confirmation SMS that "Your Vodacom 1.00GB data bundle has been activated ....". It was at this point that I decided to hot spot my Telkom phone from my Vodacom phone. 13:32 I get an SMS "Your Vodacom Data on ... has run out. ...." 13:40 I got this SMS "Low on Data? Dial *135*082# to take out a Data Advance ...". Both phones at this time have been sitting on my desk charging as phones usually do. Just after 14:00 I tried to use the internet and the phone would not go through. I then requested the balance for my number. 14:28 I got the SMS that just F'ED UP MY DAY!!!! "Your current balance is R0.00; 0 MB data available; ...." I called Vodacom and the poor lady read the script as usual and tried her best. Unfortunately, I have heard that script at least 4 time before. I realised that the call was a waste of my time. This is the last time that I am buying data from Vodacom. I am sick and tired of the data thievery.
