Data spam whilst offline

I am so disappointed with Vodacom, I purchased R200 airtime, 2 minutes later, I try purchase 1GB data @ R149 of which Vodacoms Portal site was down and again tried until I got in and purchased the required data, and then I find that I am left with 96c. where did my R50 go? I phone customer care and get told that I was being charged R2 per minute while they were offline. Absolute Nonsense! I am now taking all 6 accounts with Vodacom and moving to a different provider!
