Data Sim Top Up Deal at R299.00- Not worth it

This is basically zero star!

Signed a contract for data with Vodacom in March 2024 at R299.00 for 24 months but the price keeps on increasing. I don't understand why we have to sign the contract if the price will increase as in whenever Vodacom feels like increasing. What's the point of the contract? I was never told it will increase, I did not see the clause about this even on the Terms and Conditions.

Whoever is considering to take that R299.00 data sim top up deal, DO NOT take it especially if you are a student, this will mess up your budget. Vodacom will increase whenever and you won't be able to cancel because there will be monetary penalties you didn't plan for.
