I signed up for a Vodacom 1GB deal for R89. What they don't tell you is that the second GB onwards costs R2,000 per GB. I was hit with a bill for over R6,000 and have refused to pay because I believe such conduct is disgusting and very possibly contrary to the Consumer Protection Act. They kept trying to debit the amount off my account and I reversed the direct debit each time.
