data sharing problem - ABSOLUTELY ANNOYED

recently i was looking to upgrade by vodacom data contract i initially took two years ago during their black friday special. i looked at their website which says a data contract qualifies for a data sharing SIM at an extra charge of R25 per month per SIM. so i went into a Vodacon store at Pavillion and upgraded the contract to the one for R399x24 which was again a black friday special. a few days later i asked that store manager if i can also get a data sharing SIM and she says they dont do that anymore. i referred her to the vodacom website which says they do but she said they dont and the website needs to be updated.

i then made telephonic contact with the branch in Galleria and they said they will gladly help if i come into the branch. so i go there and they tell me they cannot do it in store and they have to call the vodacom call centre. they call in my presence and the person on the other end says that according to Rule 37 they are not allowed to add a data sharing SIM for home data contracts!!!

the website does not defferentiate between home data and mobile data as qualifying criteria. i am very dissapointed because now i have a contract that i cannot use how i wanted to.
