data runs out even when not in use

<p> </p> <p>i left my phone in the house on the 6th and on he 7th upon switching it on 2.7gig of data was finished as i rcieved an sms from vodacom. I am starting to think that vodacom is just taking our data in order to make more money from people as they see that in todays world,data is very important. Iam very disappointed in them and lodged a call which takes 3 days. I am very thankful though for the consultant that was helping me over the phone. He was polite and very helpful. I am a loyal customer and have had cntracts with vodacom for more than 5 years but at this rate i think i will jump ship.</p>
