Data Depletion and Supervisor's Attitude

One of my two contracts with Vodacom is a top-up data bundle contract. My data depleted and on 23 November 2015 I topped up with 250mb. By Monday evening when I switched of my wifi router it showed that I had only used 45mb.

On Tuesday morning 24 November I switched on my wifi router and it still showed that I had only used 45mb of my 250mb of data.

I sent a couple of emails and went onto my internet banking and within about 10 minutes I got an sms that my data has been depleted. THERE IS NO WAY THAT I COULD HAVE USED THE BALANCE OF 205mb OF 250mb OF DATA within 10 minutes for what I used the net for.

I eventually got to speak to a Supervisor on Customer Care line but I did write down his name. I explained my story to him and all he kept repeating to me was that my Windows settings was set to 'Automatically check for updates ON' which it is not as I am very well aware of these settings on my laptop and I do my own updates and choose which updates I need when and if necessary!

He kept on telling me that my settings were not off and that they were on and we were getting nowhere and I eventually just put the phone down in his ear.

VODACOM, sort this out. I want answers.
