Happened to me once before, but didn't report and now after more than a year, I have no proof of the previous issue, but with it now being repeated, something has to be done about it.

This morning I purchased a 250mb data bundle (at 4.6mb available). Some light browsing later and I receive an sms telling me that my bundle has been depleted. I (begrudgingly) purchase another 250mb bundle feeling like I can kick my own **** for not buying 500mb in the first place (R19 wasted). I then dial *111# and check my data balance only to find that I've now got 462mb available.

Browsing through my messages, I see that I bought a data bundle on the 11/03/16 and now, 1 month later, Vodacom tells me that it's depleted. AFTER I'd topped up on my data, thereby nullifying the previous cycle.

How many people have received texts from Vodacom, bought additional data only to find that the text was with reference to an older purchase and in no way a representation of current data?

This is not honest practice. And after 15 years with Vodacom, I'm at a point where I'm considering a change of network.

Bad service I can deal with, but dishonesty I will not tolerate.
