Damages my device and voids waranty - Refuses Responsibility

I went to collect my phone on Friday 17th June. It had been booked in with Ref: ********** 9 on 3 June 2016.

Vodacom refused to fix my phone due to aparent aesthetic damages.

I found how badly bent the phone was on collection(it was clearly visible) and refused to accept the phone back, i then proceeded to book the phone back in on escalation and damages.

I finally got a reply on 24 June 2016.

They have kindly offered to waiver the labour costs for something that they broke...

I have requested it be escalated once again and i will most probably get no assistance once again.

This goes to show how a company such as Vodacom can go about damaging your device with no consequences whatsoever.

I will not pay R3000 to fix something that someone else broke! This is Vodacoms problem and for them to deal with internally as to what happened. The fact that they offered to waiver the labour costs shows that they know they are in the wrong but unwilling to take full responsibility once again.

By the way, the labour costs are R200, i would be happy to pay that amount to get away from having to deal with such a company.
