Damaged Phone and Bad Service

I entered into a contract via Vodacom Online in Feb 2015. Firstly, the incorrect cell phone number was activated. After being shoved from pillar to post for two months, the correct number was eventually activated. During this time I did not use the phone. When attempting to use the phone, I noticed that it wouldn't read the sim card. I took it into Vodacom Tygervalley and was told that the phone had to go in for repairs. During this time I was in contact with Shane from the Online Sales department. When I queried about whether I should be issued with a new phone, I was told that the decision could only be made after the phone was assessed since it could only be a system glitch. Upon the phone being returned, I was told that the motherboard was replaced. This is a major issue for a new phone. Upon querying this with Shane from Online Sales, I was told that he would look, into the matter. After numerous attempts of trying to get a hold of him, I was told that nothing could be done about this and that I'm stuck with the phone, I'm basically paying for a second hand phone and on top of that the monthly subscription for the incorrect activation was deducted from my account, for which n
