damaged goods and bad attitude

I bought a tablet cash at vodacom 3weeks ago,then it started giving me problems sometimes not sliding then last week i found a scratch inside a screen and the tablet is not broken.i took it to vodacom twice and was told to throw it away cause theres nothing they can do.the tablet has a 1year garrantee i want my money and wil buy somewhere else or they must change it.they didnt even bother booking it to repare.
