Customers mean absolutely nothing to Vodacom! Customer service non existent!

Vodacom contacted me on 17/11/2016 from ********** 779 to sell me a data contract with a Vodacom tab. As I have had no further feedback or correspondence from Vodacom I called 111 to enquire what the hold up is. The agent then said that she cannot assist and transferred me to sales. The agent at sales Denzel, could not even access my account. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told he cannot transfer me! Really? Vodacom is a telecommunications company and have no ability to transfer a call. Then I requeste the team leader, Dino, to come to his phone as he cannot transfer the call. Then I am told Dino is not available as he is busy with an escalation, now I wonder is the fact that I am trying to get information not also an escallation? And is there only 1 team leader in the whole of Vodacom. So my number was taken just before 12 today and I was promised a call back. I am still waiting, it is now 13:45 already. I then walked to a Vodacom branch in Cape Town in Strand Street, out of pure desperation, there I was told by a very helpful consultant - wait for this - that Vodacom branches and the call centre are seperate and they cannot assist me. Amazing! I was provided with ********** to call to get assistance. Then the agent on that number, which is apparently after sales, that she cannot assist me, as the tablet has still not been dispatched. I must call ********** 4 (she 1st gave the number is ********** ). I then as I have loads of time to waste, call this number and again asked the same questions, why no correspondence, what is happening with the contract. Then Vodacom agents expect me as a customer to know how this contract/upgrade/whatever is definied within the Vodacom business. I am the customer, I do not know your processes and naming conventions. Look at my profile and assist me. Then I am told, yes believe it or not, that I have to call the exact same number again ********** 4 but I have to press 1 and then 1 again, as the contract has not been completed! Now how is this possible - the lady that called me on 17/11/2016 told me everything was done and that we is calling from Vodacom. Nothing needed from my side. So I waste my time even more and call again, to be told that I have to call ********** for assistance. Now does nobody in Vodacom know what is going on? Is it impossible to get feedback on a contract that I agreed to take out. Is it really so difficult to give me a date that the tablet will be delivered and the data will be made available? Honestly is this the type of service that Vodacom provides? Maybe I should go ahead and cancel my contract? I am this valueless for Vodacom. Hopefully someone will now take the time to get back to me?
