Customer Victimazation
Last year I opened a Vodacom My 10Gig Promo 24month contract in Game store at Bayside Mall in Parklands Cape Town for R299 you get 10Gig daytime and 10Gig night Awl that's how it was advertised. I never got my 10 Gig night Awl so I went to enquire as I felt I was loosing out, the consultant checked and noticed the guy that opened an account for me opened a top up account hence not getting night Awl.
Then the lady suggested that for me to get Night Awl I will have to migrate to open line on the same contract and nothing will change I'll be paying the same R299 and I greed as long as I would not have to pay anything extra. she called the Vodacom customer care to do the migration and i was migrated to opened and I signed the T&C's for migration and it was stipulated I will not be paying anything R0.00. Few days later when I check my data I noticed my bill was gna be R499 that i'll have to pay at the end of the month. I went and enquired about my latest bill as been paying R299 for the past year for this contract, she called the Vodacom customer care and she was told that upon migration the Promo that was running at that time is no longer valid hence the R499 even if I reverse the migration I will still pay R499and there's nothing they can do for me.
I feel like both Vodacom and Game Store have victimized me and violated basic customer relations and end of this month I'm gonna pay R499 for a lousy 10Gig!!! at an expense of people not knowing their own product they're selling!!!
Please I demand this to be rectified or come up with a solution that will benefit both!
