My name is Ayanda Madela and I am very angry with level of service I have been receiving from Vodacom lately.
My phone was ****** in January 2016 and I phoned customer care to report it, blacklist it and lock the line.
I have now bought a new phone and did a sim swop but my line is still not working.
I have spoken to several consultants and asked them to help me with this and they always say they have but I still cannot use my number.

My account is up to date so I do not owe anything. I have also spoken to two Supervisors named Nthabiseng and Nompumelelo who have also assured me that they have removed the hardlocks and blacklists but here I sit.

I have been calling Vodacom almost everyday since the 11 October to get my query resolved, to no avail.
All I get told is that the locks are removed and that I should wait 24 hours and then reboot my phone. I have also been told that they have logged several requests for me with the technicians and that they will investigate and phone me back. I am still waiting for those calls.
The reference numbers I was given: S3-GEY22-2QIN8; A220FOTHMY5, 003S~SCR4; 013F~F28V; S4-N9323-3PMF8. Some of the consultants I spoke to are Elna Letsimo, Dorcas Mangaliso, Mthuthuzeli George, one just name Khaya, Jesse and Mpho.

The trend I have picked up with everyone I have spoken to regarding this query is that they take an alternative number from me and say they will phone me back to follow up but they never do.
I tried to phone customer care again on 28 December 2016 to follow up and the voice prompt informed me that I have exceeded my limit to contact the customer service department for the month of December and that I should try again on 2 January 2017.

I sent an email to the customer care department and asked them to advise on what the next step is for me now because I pay this account diligently every month and have never missed a payment and yet I have to struggle for almost 3 months for something as simple as re-activating my line.
