Customer Service Non Exsistent
CUSTOMER SERVICE NON EXSISTENT I have put in an online order with Vodacom doing my upgrade online. My order was confirmed and accepted and on its way to me with the couriers. Order was due to be delivered on 11.10.2020, I then phoned the courier company to tell them that I will not be available to received the parcel that they should rather deliver on Monday, 14.12.2020. On Monday, 14.12.2020 I then phoned them again, before they could go out to deliver and let them know that I will unfortunately not be available to receive the parcel at the given address, that they should rather change the delivery address as I will be working from home this week, RAM couriers then changed the address on their side and told me that I should just phone Vodacom as well and change the address with them as well. I then phoned Vodacom and held on forever, eventually came through to someone and they had to transfer me to the correct department, held the line forever again and got cut off. I then got a call back from the agent and was told that I need to e-mail the new delivery address to *** Attention to Lennon, which I did and haven’t received any other confirmation from Vodacom. I got in contact with RAM again next day and asked them if they will be delivering and they said that Vodacom has requested that the parcel be returned. I phoned Vodacom again, held the line for ever again, eventually got through and had to be transferred again, when I eventually got to speak to someone other than a robot I was told that the delivery address was never changed and the parcel was requested to be retuned because I wasn’t available, how this is true I don’t know and certainly don’t understand, because I took my own time to phone both parties RAM and Vodacom to make sure they don’t go the given address as I wont be available there, took my own time to follow up. I just phoned Vodacom again to follow up on the order and if they have received the parcel from RAM of which the agent told me that the item hasn’t been booked back into stock yet, it will take some time and once they have booked it back into stock I need to re-apply (by now my blood is boiling) every time I phone Vodacom I get told a different story, Tuesdays story was that RAM will return the parcel, Vodacom will then send me a SMS to let me know and I will then have to phone in and arrange delivery. I also work in Aftersales and Customer Service is what I do and I must say if I had to treat my customers like I have been treated and spoken to by your agents I will be without a job today. Vodacom is really not about the Customer, but rather how they can consume from the customer even if the customer is not happy about anything. There is also no contact details to contact them at other than the call center of which you will be treated like garbage and **** to about procedures, because each agent seems to have their own procedures of how things are done in this case.
I would like someone, a Manager who knows the business and knows what customer service is all about get in contact with me to resolve this issue and have my order delivered to me. Business should be about the way we treat our paying customers especially customers that’s been apart of this service provider for years now.
