Customer Service???????????????

Today, for the second time in 7 months, I discovered that my contract had been changed without my knowledge or authorisation. The net result is that I am no longer able to make international calls as I have no funds available. The problem is that I am not on a top up contract, nor a pay as you go contract. I am, and have been for the last 24 years, on a contract payable at the month end. Contacting customer care resulted in my being informed that I changed my contract on 16 February 2018. How I could change a contract signed for two years, after only 6 months was not successfully explained to me. I was told that they suspected it was a ********** transaction and would resolve it with in 4hours. When I checked up after 4 hours, I found, as expected, that the situation had not been resolved, and I was still without the ability to make overseas calls. A second call to "Customer Service " resulted in further filibustering but no solution. It would seem that after 24 years of being a loyal customer of Vodacom, I am not going to benefit from a solution that will give me, the victim, the ability to use the service I have been paying for. That this sort of thing can happen twice in a short space of time reflects very poorly on either Vodacoms internal controls or their willingness to enforce those controls. As I cannot do without a phone I am being forced to seek another solution.
