Customer Exploitation by Vodacom

Thandeka Ndlovu from Vodacom restructured my account and offered me a cell phone (she referred this to her manager) during the restructure she managed to decrease my monthly acc payment from R1800 from R3600pm - this is by restructuring monthly payments that were long overdue for a restructure. She also explained that I would still pay the same amount (R3600pm) for January but from February I would pay the decreased amount of R1800 pm. As consolation for the agony that Vodacom put me through they threw in a new phone for me also. Vodacom is now denying that this conversation took place and is harassing me every month to pay the full amount of R3600pm. I asked them for a recording of the conversation- gave them the person I spoke to (Thandeka Ndlovu) - they say she does not work there. And they are not forthcoming with the recording (26th January 2026 - 15h50 - 16h00) please help me with rectifying this as this is thr third time that Vodacom does this to me. I CANNOT afford this payment.

Thank you for your reply but your consultant called but nothing was done. I had to go borrow R5700 from a famil member to pay Vodacom because the blaocked my account and my kids are writing exams and get their school work on their phones. So they forced me to pay another R5700 and now sent me a threat for another R53 that is outstanding and the R3600 I need to pay again the end of this month. This while this is VODACOMs fault but because they are in a position of power they dont care that they are in the wrong...they can get away with what they are doing. While I was in the Vodacom shop there were 2 other customers screaming on the phones as they are frustrated with Vodacom. Same situation as me where they called customers to restructure and then it never happened. And they now force people to pay. I AM TAKING THEM TO THE OFFICE OF THE CONSUMER PROTECTOR BECAUSE I HAD ENOUGH!!!
