customer care does not care!

This company is really a waste of time. Dealing with their customer care people has been an extremely painful exercise with no resolution. After LOOOOOONNNNGGGG mutliple phone calls where I spoke to many uns****ed personel, there was still no resolution to what i think is a simple error. But there's obviously no incentive for the company or it's people to resolve my issue since they've inccorrectly billed and debitted me for it? what an terrible culture and ethos for service business. My issue: I upgrade my phone and contract online effective 1 March 2017. The system incorrectly billed me my old plan (Smart M line) and for promotional 10G data that was meant to be free as well as the normal bill resulting in a bill double what i was expecting. I started calling the from the 14th March. I even went into the Canal Walk store and i was told the same thing - A credit note has been issued and it is waiting for approval. this should not take more than 7 working days. Someone will contact me to notify me once this has been done and I will be debited the correct amount at month-end. **** foward to today. We are on the 4th 7-working day cycle, I have called 3 times and this is still not resolved. No one has called me on the matter. My last call was on the 12th April at 10:19 with Lionel who then escallated it to his supervisor Zinhle who was meant to get back to me. failing which the other supervisors, Thomas orMasilino would contact me. Ive also dealt with a Ntombi and aJabu who promised to call me back and still nothing. Lionel was probably the most competent of the bunch because he actually tried to put me through to various departments( upgrades, billings, and sales) while i waited on the line and they all came back to say they did not want to take accountability for this. So now I must suffer??

A huge disappointment. A waste of time and now money. I moved migrated to Vodacom. I did the upgrade online becasue i just cant deal with their people anymore. It turns out their systems are not any better. My advise for those thinking of migrating to Vodacom. just stay where you are. Better the devil you know.
