Credit record not cleared under my name

My ID was ****** and the person took a contract at Kempton park. I reported the case and it was investigated by their ***** department. They sent me a letter saying that it has been closed and I was a victim of ***** last year around Oct/sep and promised to remove it under my credit report. Funny enough last week the same Vodacom credit had popped up under my name and it's still looks like I'm owing vodacom. What is the duties of your ***** department since it's still appearing that I'm owing you on my credit record.
