Credit limit bar

On Monday 5th September, my lines were credit limit barred. I have 3 lines on my account at Vodacom. We had reached our credit limit and our phones were blocked. I contacted the cutomer care line on the morning of 5th September and lodged a credit limit increase application which I was told would take between 24 and 48 hours to process. I was warned that my phone lines would keep being barred until the credit increase application had been approved and true to form my lines were barred every night from that moment and I had to phone each morning to have them unbarred. Eventually on Friday afternoon I managed to get hold of a manager who told me that my application for a credit limit increase was still pending and had not even been given to an agent for processing yet because there is such a big backlog! There was nothing she could do. So over the weekend I kept phoning to have the phones unlocked as they were locked. Then this morning, same story and I phone to have them unlocked. Two lines are unlocked but 2 hours later, the third line is not unlocked. As it happens this is the number that my daughter uses. When I phoned to enquire why this line had not been unlocked, I was told that there was a service request pending on this line. When asked what the request was, I was told that it was a package change. I asked who had authorised this change and of course no-one can tell me. I was then told that they would investigate and get back to me by 10 a.m which of course didn't happen. So I phoned back this afternoon. Same story. Package change. The phone cannot be unlocked until the service request has been sorted and that is going to take 24 - 48 working hours although I have never requseted this change. What happens if something happens to my daughter as she drives alone and cannot get hold of anyone??????????? I would be fired if I was this ***********. It is beyond unbelievable and I can do nothing about it because "the system" won't allow it. Let's see if I even get a response to this message.
