Credit enquiry without consent

I have been battling with Vodacom since my contract in 2019. It’s been back and forth with Vodacom not taking ANY accountability. It has disappointed me to a point where I want nothing to do with Vodacom - thus after 15 years using the network and three contracts

I was called by a Vodacom representative at Sunnypark Pretoria who advised I’m due for an upgrade. I made it clear I don’t want to upgrade, she calls a few minutes later asking me to provide my 3 months bank statement and I said NO

Today I’m woken by an enquiry on my credit profile. I did not agree to this, I find this is as a violation and leaves a bitter taste

Is this what Vodacom has succumbed to? Disgusting behaviour !

This the third time I type this, it’s now been two times in promised “a consultant call”

Failure to respond will result in me escalating the issue

I’m still waiting for a call from a consultant. This is quite a pressing issue that seems to be not prioritised
